A tradition since 1888.  Come join us each January at the Pla-Mor Ballroom for live Polka music and dancing.

GFD Annual Golf Tournament 

Join us for a day of fun and golf at the Glencoe Country Club supporting the Glencoe Fire Department.

August

National Night Out 
A nationwide event that encourages residents to get out in the community, holding block parties and getting to know their neighbors.  The Glencoe Fire Department trucks can be seen visiting events throughout the city.

 

October

Fire Prevention
In October, during Fire Prevention Week, firefighters are at schools and elderly housing units teaching young and old about the hazards of fire.

Heat in the Street Music Festival
Music festival featuring nationally recognized county music artists.  Proceeds help benefit the Glencoe Fire Relief Association.
